This is a placeholder. The full privacy policy will be published here before the app is released. What it will say, in plain terms, is already decided:

• We ask for a city, town, or ZIP to fetch weather for — never a street address — and we round it to about a kilometer before storing it.
• We never track where you are. No background location, no history. Your phone's time-zone name is used only to keep quiet while you sleep.
• We never ask you questions, send surveys, or prompt for ratings.
• We keep only your current status, not a history of alerts.
